With limited I mean in settings btw, I didn't find a two-pass options; basically all you have to do is set the average bitrate. Then again, I didn't really look for more options either :D

Badaboom itself is fairly limited, but CUDA enhanced encoding is definitely the way forward. I've only got a 9800 GTX, not even a GTX+ so imagine how quick this shit can go on a GTX295 :/ -
Seems like a very decent encode. Reckon this could replace x264?

This is merely to show off the power of Badaboom.
Badaboom is a CUDA accelerated h264 encoder; rendering this video took me just over 4 minutes. The source video was a h264 video encoded with Vegas' Mainconcept AVC, which took 42 minutes to render.
As a comparison, I also did the same rerender in Vegas, which still took 27 minutes.
Settings:
- 720p @ 4 MBPS Average bitrate (VBR)
- The original file was also done with two passes; both rerenders are single-pass.
If I get the time, I'll upload the Vegas re-render as well, but take it from me when I say there isn't any noticable difference in quality between them. The original video looks tons better obviously, but it should since it is based on uncompressed sources and done with two passes.
I say, bring on the CUDA encoders, I'm loving it !
