Treyarch, the developer of Call of Duty: United Offensive, is currently making the next Call of Duty serie game called World at War to be released for several platforms including PC, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. With the new instalment the serie is making a u-turn to World War II but the battlefield won't be Europe, it will be the Pacific Ocean.
To promote the game that is scheduled to be released at some point later this year, they have published a pre-release trailer. It doesn't show any kind of material of the gameplay but it concentrates showing how beautiful it looks. From what you can see in the trailer, you will be able to climb up to a tree, kill an enemy with katana and burn some bushes with a flamethrower.
According to Wikipedia, the title has had a two year development cycle and its game engine is based on Modern Warfare's game engine. Enviroments are also more destructible, you can burn stuff with your flamethrower and you can shoot holes into thin wood in order to climb through.
