Due to a failure at the Ams-ix (around 16:00CET) it’s possible that your video will take a bit longer to load.

Tomorrow (26th of May 2008) we will have some downtime as we’re moving to a new datacenter. At the same time we will add a bunch of new servers to upgrade our serverpark. So back to work tomorrow between 14:00 and 16:00 (CET)!

With subtitles for our dutch friends!

As we’re a big fan of Team Fortress 2 we’ve a made a special Team Fortress 2 “Meet The” channel.

A: Yes, as long as it’s related to the theme ‘funny bloopers’ and it’s your own movie.

Q: Is there a limited number of videos that I can add to the channel?
A: No, just upload as many bloopers as possible to the channel.

Q: Who will decide who will win the contest?
A: Our own judges will decide who will win the prizes.

Q: When will the winners be announced for the video contest?
A: On the 20th of June 2008 the winners will be announced via our blog/forum!

Today we released a new feature making it possible to share your channel(s) and let others contribute to it.

Step 1
Go to the channel section on Wipido and select the channel that you like to share.

Step 2
Select the way you want to share your channel.

• Selected users
  This option gives you the control who can contribute to your special channel.
  If you select this option you can go to step 3!
  
  
• Everybody
  When choosing this option your channel will be open to all Wipido users who then can contribute to your channel*
  When selected this option your channel is ready for contributions!

Step 3
Add the nickname of the person you would like to see contributing to your channel and hit ‘add contributor’

If you would like to delete the contributor you select the users and hit ‘remove selected’

Now the contributor can add a video to your channel via the ‘add channel’ function under every video or by filling in the ID of the video at the channel page! If you find a bug in this new feature or got an idea then your always welcome at our forums!

At the moment we are having some issues with the conversion of some videos that use the WMA Pro audio codec.
If you are having issues with the conversion of your videos, please report the issue in our forums!
